AlbumBaru.Com — Grup musik beraliran progressive metal asal Swedia ini bernama Europe. Dibentuk pada tahun 1979. Awalnya bernama Force. Populer ditahun 1980-an, Europe beranggotakan Joey Tempest, John Norum, John Leven, Mic Michaeli dan Ian Haugland. Inilah lagu terbaik Europe untuk kamu!
Nama Europe melambung setelah meluncurkan lagu “The Final Countdown”. Lagu ini didominasi riff keyboards yang membawa Europe sebagai salah satu band hard rock papan atas dunia. Termasuk salah satu lagu rock yang populer di era 80-an.
Pada tahun 1982 dan 1984, Europe meluncurkan dua buah album pertamanya, yang bertajuk Europe dan Wings of Tomorrow. Kedua album ini mendapat perhatian pecinta musik di Jepang dan Skandinavia.
Pada 1986, Europe kembali meluncurkan album ketiganya, The Final Countdown (1986). Album dengan hits “The Final Countdown” ini, berhasil mencapai tangga lagu nomor 1 di 26 negara. Lagu “Carrie”, “Rock The Night”, dan “Cherokee” juga menjadi populer dan menjadi hits di seluruh dunia.
Album Europe lainnya yang mendapat sambutan hangat pecinta musik metal antara lain Out of This World (1988), Prisoners in Paradise (1991), Rock The Night : The Very Best of Europe (album kompilasi) (2003), Start From the Dark (2004) dan Secret Society (2006).
